The Blue Cash Preferred Card from American Express is currently offering a $250 statement credit when you spend $1,000 in purchases on your new card within your first 3 months of cardmembership. That’s the best publicly available offer for the card to date.

In addition, the card is offering an intro 0% APR on purchase and balance transfers for your first 15 months, though balance transfers do come with a 3% fee (minimum $5). The card also carries a $75 annual fee, which is not waived for the first year.

Today, American Express announced that its cards are now accepted at the more than 650 Sam’s Club locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. To celebrate the new partnership, American Express is offering a special promo for eligible cardmembers at Sam’s Club locations through October 31, 2015. When cardmembers use an enrolled, eligible card to spend $45 or more on a new Sam’s Club membership in-store, they’ll receive a one-time $25 statement credit.

Alas, but all good things come eventually come to an end. Small Business Saturday, a holiday created by American Express back in 2010 to promote the patronage of brick and mortar businesses that are small and local, has traditionally incentivized shoppers by giving statement credits when they used their American Express card at a small business on the holiday. The credits ranged from $10 to $25 to three $10 credits per card with minimal spending requirements.

This year, however, it appears that American Express is removing the statement credit offer for cardholders.

The latest Amex Offer isn’t a very lucrative one, but it’s one which should have widespread appeal. When you spend $25 or more at any Exxon or Mobil-branded gas station using your enrolled American Express card, you’ll receive a one-time $5 statement credit. This offer is valid through September 30, 2015, but enrollment is limited. Given how fast other recent Amex Offers from Staples and Sports Authority have filled up, this offer may not last long, either.
