American Express has a new targeted offer available — when you enroll your eligible card by April 14, 2015 and pay your cell phone bill of $75+ online at these accepting major US Carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular or Verizon) by July 15, 2015, you’ll get a $10 statement credit back. You can earn the $10 statement credit up to 3 times.

Full terms of the offer are as follows:

Limit 3 statement credits per American Express online account. Enrollment limited. Offer is non-transferable. In order to be eligible for the offer: (i)you must enroll your Card by April 14, 2015, (ii) you must use that same Card to pay your cell phone bill online for the brands listed in this offer directly at the listed merchants’ website and (iii) your payment with that Card must be made in a single transaction of $75 or more and be completed by July 15, 2015. Payments for prepaid cell phone purchases, plans or services do not qualify. Payments made via phone or at retail locations do not qualify. Payments for brands other than those listed do not qualify. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after July 15, 2015, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from the merchant until all of the items from your qualifying purchase have been provided. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. • Your AmericanExpress.com account – For most people, this will be the easiest way to sign up. When you log into your online account, there is a section near the bottom called “Amex Offers & Benefits.” In that section, you can see a list of available offers for your account. You may need to scroll to the right to see all your offers. If you are eligible for this offer, you’ll see an offer that says “Save On Your Cell Phone Bill – Spend $75+, get $10 back. Up to 3x.” Click the “Add to Card” button next to a deal to enroll your card.
• American Express iPhone App – Those with iPhones can log into the American Express App and visit the “Offers For You” tab in the “Membership” section to see available Amex Offers

Note that even if your cell phone bill is less than $75 per month, you should still be able to take advantage of this deal. For example, Verizon allowed me to make a $75 payment even though my bill was for less than $75, such that I now have a credit on my account. Make sure that you make your payment online, however, so that you are complying with the terms of the offer.
