Southwest Airlines Premier Credit Card – 50,000 Points Signup Bonus is Back Again
After a brief hiatus, the 50,000 point bonus signup offer for the Southwest Airlines Premier Credit Card is back again. Even better, the minimum spending requirement has dropped back down to the customary $1,000 within three months, rather than the $2,000 the last time this deal was offered a few months ago. 50,000 points can be redeemed for about $833 in Wanna Get Away fares, which should be enough for at least 2 round-trip flights.
This 50,000 point offer is currently available on both the Rapid Rewards Plus card and the Rapid Rewards Premier card. While the Plus card offers a 3,000 point anniversary bonus and carries a $69 annual fee, the Premier card offers a 6,000 point anniversary bonus with a $99 annual fee. The Premier card will also help you earn elite A+ status faster, as you’ll earn 1,500 Tier Qualifying Points (TQPs) for each $10,000 of net purchases on the card, with a maximum of 15,000 TQPs earned from credit card spend per year.
Both cards earn 2 points per $1 spent directly with Southwest and Rapid Rewards Hotel and Car Rental Partners and 1 point per $1 on all other purchases.
Update: Within hours, this offer appears to have been taken down. Clicking the “Apply” button currently leads to a ‘Server Error’ page.
Those dont work either.
Sorry Chris, I apologize for the error. I have fixed the links that give 50k points for 2k in min spend. They should work now.
Can I get an update as to when this offer is up and running again?
