United Mileage Plus Visa: 50,000 Bonus Miles upon Signup
Chase has now even further sweetened its United Mileage Plus Visa sign up bonus, offering 50,000 Mileage Plus miles after you make qualifying transactions totaling $250 or more. The annual fee of $60 is also waived for the first year under this offer.
There doesn’t appear to be a link to the online application, though you can read some of the terms here. Note that this promotion is only available to first-time cardholders with new accounts.
To apply, you’ll need to call Mileage Plus customer service (1-800-421-4655). Choose the “apply for a UA Mileage Plus credit card” option to be transferred to Chase. The Chase CSR will then be able to help you with this 50k bonus deal. (Via FT)

Oh, that sounds sweet. I’m trying to find the best credit card. I’ve been to a few blogs but I’m not sure yet. I was thinking of holding out until the new credit card laws fully take effect. I guess we’ll see.

HOW CAN I FIND AN APPLICATION FOR THE 50000 UA MILEAGE PLUS VISA.(CHASE?)
I have had the United Mileage Plus Chase/Visa card for five years now and have tried to redeem miles on five different occasions with absolutely no luck. They never have any seats available except for first class which then they will tell you you don’t have enough miles for. I have 132,240 miles!!

A standard domestic ticket costs 25,000 miles, but if your dates are flexible, a Saver ticket costs only 12,500.
