Based on the experiences of many people, American Express will credit you $7.05 regardless of how many songs or apps you purchase. So even if you make just a single purchase for 99 cents, your account will be credited for $7.05. Also, people are reporting that you can register additional cards even if they are on the same account, as long as the card numbers are different. Only one statement credit per registered account, regardless of the number of transactions made, however, will be issued.

As a reminder, you must register your card and make a purchase on iTunes between February 10, 2011 and March 15, 2011 to be eligible for this promotion. Most American Express consumer and busines credit cards should be eligible. You can register at this link.
