Continental Airlines OnePass Plus Card: 50,000 Bonus Miles, First Year’s Annual Fee Waived
The Continental Airlines OnePass Plus credit card now offers 50,000 bonus miles after your first purchase, enough for two round-trip tickets within the continental US and Canada. In addition, the first year’s annual fee of $85 will be waived as part of this offer.
Tickets purchased directly from Continental earn 2 miles per dollar, while all other purchases will earn 1 mile per dollar.
Other benefits of the card include:
- As a one-time bonus each calendar year, once you reach $25,000 or more in net purchases on your OnePass Plus Card, you will receive 10,000 OnePass miles.
- Having your first checked bag free when you use your card to buy your tickets on Continental flights
- Two Presidents Club passes each year
Note: To fully maximize your mileage earned, you may want to wait until February 1 to apply so that your application counts towards Mileathon.
Note: As of May 15, 2011, the 50k Continental miles offer has now expired. To view the current Continental Airlines OnePass Plus card deal, see this link.
Edit May 16, 2011: Alternatively, you can also get 50,000 Continental miles by applying for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card.
