As it earlier promised to do, Citi has now rolled out its free credit score program to cardmembers. Beginning this week, consumers with Citi-branded credit cards can log into their accounts online to view their free Experian credit scores. Unfortunately, consumers with Citi credit cards branded by other companies–such as Sears, Best Buy or Macy’s–are not part of the free credit score program.

Citi is both the largest and the latest credit card issuer to provide a free credit score to its customers, joining Discover, Barclaycard, FNBO, Sallie Mae and Pentagon Federal Credit Union.

This past week, Citi announced that it is partnering with Fair Isaac Co. to provide free credit scores to its cardmembers beginning in January 2015. Citi recently introduced yet another redemption option for your ThankYou points. Called “ThankYou Select and Credit,” the new option allows Citi ThankYou Rewards members to use their points to cover purchases made during their current credit card billing cycle in certain categories on an eligible consumer Citi credit card. Eligible spending categories include dining, entertainment, grocery and drug store purchases, utilities and gas.

Through December 17, 2013, when you use your Citi credit card on Tuesdays on an eligible purchase of $100 or more at Walmart.com, you’ll receive a $10 Walmart eGift Card. To qualify for this offer, you must make a single transaction of at least $100 at Walmart.com, excluding taxes and shipping charges, and pay for the purchase with an eligible Citi® credit card.

Once you’ve made your qualifying purchase, a $10 Walmart eGift Card will be emailed to you within ten days.

Your purchase may not include gift cards, Pharmacy, tires, Photo, customized or personalized items, Vudu, or Walmart To Go. All Citi-branded cards, excluding business credit and professional cards, are eligible for this promotion.
