Chase just introduced a new offer on its Slate from Chase card: for a limited-time, you’ll get a 0% intro APR for up to 12 months with no balance transfer fees during the first 30 days your account is open. In addition, the card carries no annual fee.

While Slate from Chase doesn’t come with any rewards for spending, you wouldn’t want to make any purchases on it during the intro balance transfer period anyway. After you’ve taken advantage of the initial no fee balance transfer and the intro period is over, you can convert it to a rewards earning card such as the Chase Freedom.

penfedDue to the success of the 4.99% balance transfer for life promo on the PenFed Promise card, PenFed has extended this offer to all of its credit cards for a limited time.

Balance transfers made between April 1, 2011 and June 30, 2011 on eligible PenFed credit cards, including the PenFed Premium Travel Rewards American Express Card and the Platinum Cashback Rewards card, will qualify for a 4.99% APR for the life of the balance transfer with all balance transfer fees waived. Balance transfers from other PenFed credit cards, loans and/or lines of credit are not eligible for this promotion.

For a limited time, the PenFed Promise Card offers a promotional balance transfer deal of 4.99% APR for the life of the balance on transfers made now through March 31, 2011 with no balance transfer fees.

In addition to its 24 month 0% balance transfer offer, the Discover More card has another limited-time promo which may be more attractive: an intro 0% APR on both balance transfers and purchases for 12 months with no balance transfer fees. As usual, the Discover More card has no annual fee and earns 5% cashback in categories that rotate every quarter.

This promotion is only available through February 28, 2011.

Citi Platinum Select MasterCard: 0% APR on Balance Transfers for 24 Months

The Citi Platinum Select MasterCard is now offering an intro 0% APR on balance transfers for 24 months and 0% APR on purchases for 12 months. The initial balance transfer can be performed anytime within 4 months of account opening. There is a 3% balance transfer fee with a minimum of $5. There is no annual fee.
