When you purchase two American Express gift cards of at least $25 each between May 1 and June 30, 2008, you’re eligible to receive a $25 Spring Fling gift card valid at Best Buy, Borders, Fandango and SpaFinder.

To complete this offer, you’ll need a rebate form which you can pick up at the stores selling the gift cards. Two offers can be completed per household, and all submissions, consisting of the rebate form and the original receipt, must be made by July 22, 2008. If you buy them in store, there is a $3.95 activation fee per $25 GC. So you’ll pay roughly $8 in fees to earn each Spring Fling card. One potential alternative is to buy the Amex gift cards online and use promo code: GIFT2008 (expiration date: unknown). Assuming the promo code is still valid in May, you’ll still have to pay shipping charges on the gift cards and you’ll also need to pick up the rebate forms at your local store, but it could work out to be cheaper than paying the individual activation fees.
