It isn’t the most spectacular signup reward available, but considering the way that movie ticket prices have been skyrocketing, it isn’t bad. Whereas the typical signup for the Univeral Entertainment card gives you one movie ticket after your first purchase, this offer gives you four.

Chase has made changes to its Borders 3.2.1 Visa to make it much more attractive, increasing the number of points awarded and enabling “Borders Rewards” members to double-dip. As reported by CardTrak, some of the features of the new program include:
Previously, you would have only received 2 points per dollar spent at Borders and 1 point per dollar spent anywhere else. Redemption options were also limited to Borders gift certificates.
In addition, “Borders Rewards” members can elect to add their Borders Rewards number to their Borders 3.2.1 Visa. Doing so allows them to also accrue 5% of their qualifying purchases on the card towards their Holiday Savings Reward.

Note that there are three different flavors of this card: 1) the no annual fee version, which is the version offered here, 2) the “Elite Level” version, which offers more points per dollars spent at the cost of a $75 annual fee, and 3) the Business version, which is essentially the same as the “Elite Level” but geared towards businesses.
The rewards structure is unique in that in addition to earning points for your spending on the card, you also earn points for miles flown on tickets purchased with your card. You can find more details on the Premier Pass points program here.
If you’re extra paranoid like me, you’ll have skimmed through the terms and conditions of the online application and noticed that no mention is made of bonus Thank You points, which is what I assume you will receive to exchange for the gift card. So, I would recommend applying over the phone with the offer code to confirm that the deal exists as suggested.
Most AMEX Business Cardholders should be automatically enrolled in this targeted promotion. As described on FW:

In case you aren’t familiar with this card already, it offers up to 2% back with no annual fee and no caps. While you also have the opportunity to redeem accrued points for other merchandise, the real value lies in the cash back redemption at the upper tiers:
As you can see, at 1 point per dollar spent, you can receive 2% cash back once you accumulate 50,000 points. Points do expire after 5 years and since the point exchange values could in theory change at any time, this is probably only attractive for big spenders.
