Chase has upped the ante yet again on its Freedom card. There is now a publicly available $350 signup bonus–the best ever for the card. Under this promo, you’ll earn 35,000 bonus points–redeemable for a $350 check–when you spend at least $500 during the first 3 months of your cardmembership.

As is standard for the Freedom card, you’ll earn 1% on all purchases and 5% on purchases in categories that rotate every quarter. For instance, this quarter (4/1/12-6/30/12) you’ll earn a 5% rebate on purchases at grocery stores and movie theaters on up to $1,500 in spending. There is no annual fee.

Note: As is often the case with Chase, if you recently applied for a Freedom card with a less lucrative bonus, you can ask Chase to match this offer. The best way to do this is to log into your account online and send a secure message to customer service. Tell them that you saw an offer with a $350 bonus and ask politely if it can be matched. Usually if you have applied for the same card within 90 days, Chase will credit you the difference.
