Eligible American Express Cardmembers can receive a promo code from Fandango good for a free movie ticket when they sign up to receive the Entertainment Access E-mail Newsletter by September 12, 2008. According to the fine print, the newsletter is sent out at least once a month, but not more than weekly, and there is nothing in the terms that says you can’t unsubscribe after you’ve received your free ticket.

The terms specify that the following cards are eligible for this promotion: Gold Card, Platinum Card®, Centurion® Card, Blue from American Express® Card, International Dollar Cards, Corporate Platinum Card and the Executive Business Card, Business Gold Card, Business Platinum Card and Business Centurion Card from OPEN, if issued by American Express Travel Related Services Company Inc., American Express Centurion Bank, American Express Bank, FSB, Basic Rewards Green Card, Preferred Rewards Green Card, Vintage Green Card, Green Card, Business Green Card if issued by American Express Travel Related Services Company Inc., American Express Bank, FSB.

Buy One, Get One Ticket Free for Discover Card Holders
There is a concurrent Fandango free ticket promotion with Discover Card as well. It runs through August 31, 2008. The Discover offer is a ‘buy one get one free’ promo. You may need to hurry on this one, as the quota ran out quickly last month.
