American Express Gold Business Card Signup Offer: 25,000 Points After Spending $1,000
Amex has a new signup bonus available for its Gold Business Card. You can earn 25,000 Membership Rewards points–enough for a free domestic round trip ticket–by applying now and spending at least $1,000 by October 31, 2008. As part of this offer, the annual fee of $125 will be waived for the first year.
More fine print:
Upon the Basic Cardmember’s first purchase, a one-time bonus of 5,000 points can be earned toward the Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmember’s Membership Rewards account. These bonus points will be credited to your Membership Rewards account 6 to 8 weeks after your first eligible purchase appears on your monthly billing statement. In addition, after you spend $1,000 on your Business Gold Rewards Card before October 31, 2008, 20,000 bonus points will appear on your monthly billing statement within 6-8 weeks. These bonuses will appear as separate credits of 5,000 and 20,000 bonus points. The maximum 25,000 bonus points are available to first-time Basic Business Gold Rewards Cardmembers only; they are not available if you transfer an existing account. The bonus 25,000 Membership Rewards points may be redeemed for one coach, domestic round-trip airline ticket. Taxes and fees are responsibility of the Cardmember.
Cardmembers transferring points to participating domestic airlines will be charged a fee of $.0005 per point, up to $75. This charge is to offset the excise taxes American Express currently pays to the government on such transactions. Applications must be received between 04/14/2008 and 7/31/08. The Bonus IDs for this offer are 9238 and 0903.
