$250 Bonus When You Sign Up for a Chase Freedom Card
The title says it all. Get $250 after your first purchase with your new Chase Freedom card. This offer can currently be found off of Chase’s homepage at chase.com, or alternatively at http://resources.chase.com/ViewAd.aspx?AD=|||28678|||.
Some of the fine print:
Receive $250 after your first purchase.* You will receive $200 in bonus rebates which can be redeemed for a $250 check…The bonus offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts. Only one bonus per account. Existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for the bonus offer.
The card itself is not too bad, and is described here. You won’t necessarily want to sock drawer it after signing up.

Chase does not seem to be offering this $250 bonus. I went to the site and it says nothing of it… please advise!

It’s dead now.
It is up there right now. I just applied and got approved. I printed the page just in case they (Chase) tell me later that there was no such offer.

Got my $250 check last week. So, it took less than 2 months from the date of application. I did make a purchase almost immediately upon receiving the card.
