Redeeming your points
For those unfamiliar with the Hilton HHonors program, Hilton has 10 hotel categories, with category 1 hotels costing 5,000 points per free night, and category 10 hotels costing between 70,000 to 95,000 points per night, depending upon the season. Redemption values vary quite a bit, but generally one can value each HHonors point at roughly 50 cents per point, making the 75,000 point signup bonus fairly attractive.
