Amex Sync: Get $5 Statement Credit for Each Qualifying Purchase of at Least $25 at BP

If you have a BP station in your neighborhood, Amex is now offering a pretty unbeatable deal on gas. When you register your American Express card for this promotion, you’ll receive a $5 statement each time you spend at least $25 at the pump in a single transaction at any BP station by December 31, 2013. Enrollment is limited and this offer is not valid for online purchases or any other purchase not made at the pump.

There are a few potential ways you can register for this promotion:

• Log into your American Express account online. Click the “Offers for You” tab and look for the offer from BP. If you find the offer, click the “Save Offer” button to register your card. If the offer is not there, then you’ll need to use one of the other methods to register your card.
• You can also try registering for this promo through Facebook. You’ll need to log into your Facebook account and like the page at https://apps.facebook.com/amexlinklikelove/. Search for the offer there to register
• Alternatively, you can register your card via Twitter:
  • First, sync your Amex with Twitter.
  • Then, tweet #AmexBP to add the offer to your synced card. Once you’ve done this successfully, you should receive a “@ reply” message from @AmexSync stating that this offer has been added to your synced Card.
  • Then, use your sycned Card to make a single purchase of $25 or more at the pump at any BP station by 12/31/13.

Per the terms, you’re eligible for a $5 statement credit for each purchase of at least $25 made by 12/31/13, so unlike almost all other Amex Sync promos, it isn’t a single-use deal. Your statement credit should appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 12/31/13.
