Amex Sync Deals: Best Buy, Exxon Mobil and More
A few, newly available social media deals from American Express come just in time for the holiday season. Among them: A $25 statement credit when you spend at least $250 at Best Buy in-store or online, as well as a $5 statement credit for spending at least $30 at the pump at any Exxon or Mobil gas station. Read on for the details.
To participate in the Best Buy promo, you’ll need to:
- Sync your Amex with Twitter (see instructions here or see this post if you’re completely new to Twitter)
- Tweet using hashtag #AmexBestBuy
- Wait to receive an “@ reply†message from @amexsync stating that this offer has been added to your card. You’ll see this message on the “@ Connect†page under “Mentions.” Then, use your synced Amex to make a single purchase of $250 or more at Best Buy by 12/31/13.
Note: This promo is not valid at Best Buy Express, on Geek Squad services made outside Best Buy stores, or at standalone Pacific Sales stores. E-gift card purchases are also excluded.
Your $25 statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 8 weeks after American Express receives confirmation from Best Buy regarding your qualifying purchase.
